Wendy's Wonderful Kids awards grants to public and private adoption agencies to hire staffers who implement proactive, child-focused recruitment programs targeted specifically at moving America's longest-waiting children from foster care into adoptive families. In the five years since this program was started 194 recruiters have worked to finalize more than 4,000 adoptions. Children referred to Wendy's Wonderful Kids are up to 3 times more likely to get adopted.
