Caped crusaders will be running the streets of Ann Arbor, Michigan on Saturday September 6 2014 to raise money to help people in need. Join me and other runners dressed up as super heroes (costumes/capes optional) as we zip through 1K and 5K courses circling Gallup Park with registration fees going to support Lutheran Social Services of Michigan. Lutheran Social Services of Michigan provides assistance across the lower peninsula of Michigan with adoptions, foster care, family preservation, group homes and assistance for people with developmental disabilities, senior housing and home-care options, refugee assistance, and a number of other programs to help communities in the area it serves.
Each participant in The Super Run will receive their very own Super Cape and Super Run swag. If you want to join me in the 5k Super Run, or maybe come out for the 1k if that is more your speed, the entry fee is $25 per adult and if you sign-up online and provide them with my special code SUPERGEEKDAD5 they will deduct $5 from your entry so it only costs you $20 to participate.
