CALL OF DUTY WWII

Looking for a last minute Christmas gift for a guy like myself who enjoys playing video games?  You still have time to swing by a local GameStop retail location to pick up Activision's new CALL OF DUTY: WWII game.  This game is meant for adults with a M rating by the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) meaning it is meant to be played by those seventeen years old and up.  This game provides a cinematic quality experience transporting players back in history to participate within intense combat sequences involving World War II's European theater. It is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

CALL OF DUTY: WWII provides an in-depth single player campaign where players take on the role of a recruit in the U.S. First Infantry Division who is experiencing combat for the first time on D-Day.  If you can survive your beach landing at Normandy, players progress through French cities including Merigny, Falaise and Paris before ultimately heading into Germany.  Utilize and encounter authentic equipment, weapons and vehicles from the time period as you make your way through recreations of military engagements from World War II.

Zombies have become a fan favorite element of CALL OF DUTY video games and this game includes them too.  Play through a separate spooky scenario from the game's main campaign where you have to make your way through a storyline full of creepy adversaries.  You can get some help with this campaign as it allows for two player cooperative play on your video game console for those who don't want to go it alone.  Think you can defeat a legion of Nazi undead?!

For those who enjoy the multi-player aspect of CALL OF DUTY you can connect online with a number of people and engage assault and defend game play where teams compete against one another.  Multi-player games revolve more around shooter style action than completing a campaign that follows a storyline but the open context of these matches can be exhilarating and creating camaraderie with online teammates is always entertaining.

While it is too late to purchase something online and have it shipped to you, GameStop is a store that still has numerous brick-and-mortar retail locations throughout the United States.  Visit gamestop.com to see all the great products they have in stock, including CALL OF DUTY: WWII, and find a location that is convenient for you to swing by near you.  Many items you can purchase online and arrange to pick up at that store.  Others you can at least see if they have in stock at specific locations before heading out.  In a bind for last minute Christmas shopping?  GameStop can help with a large selection of video games as well as geek culture type merchandise like clothing and toys with sci-fi and superhero themes.
