In the end, the Kid dies and Pat goes on to marry Barbara Whitmore, who later becomes Courtney’s mom.

Still upset with her mom for getting married to Pat, however, she decides to take on the role of the Kid herself and fight evil. Eventually, Pat makes a robotic suit, similar to the one worn by Iron Man, and teams up with her in all kinds of adventures. The two become known as Stargirl and S.T.R.I.P.E.

Courtney also finds a powerful staff to help her in her mission to fight evil and avenge the Kid’s death. With its powers, she is able to accomplish many heroic feats that will keep you on the edge of your seat the entire show.

One interesting thing to note about this superhero that sets her apart from others is that she’s not born with innate cosmic abilities.
