STARSHIP TROOPERS Traitor of Mars

To celebrate to 20th anniversary of the original STARSHIP TROOPERS movie, Sony Pictures will soon be releasing an animated sequel for home video audiences with a new adventure featuring the characters Johnny Rico and Dizzy Flores.  Sci-fi fans who want to experience seeing this new movie on the big screen though can have the opportunity to view it at a theater for two showings before the cartoon is released on home video.  Fathom Events will be showing STARSHIP TROOPERS: TRAITOR OF MARS at more than 450 movie theaters across the United States through its digital broadcast network.  Show times will be exclusively on Monday, August 21, 2017 at 7:30 pm and 10:00pm.

Casper Van Dien and Dina Meyer return to voice Johnny Rico and Dizzy Flores alongside comedian and Starship Troopers super fan DeRay Davis in an all-new animated adventure from Ed Neumeier, writer of Starship Troopers and Robocop, and director Shinji Aramaki (Appleseed Alpha).  Following the events that took place in the 2012 straight-to-video animated movie Starship Troopers: Invasion, this new story finds The Terran Federation planning an assault on the bug's home planet.  These plans are disrupted by a sneak attack against a Federation base on Mars. It is up to Rico and his fellow recruits to fend off an onslaught of giant bugs!
