As the ten year storyline of the Marvel Cinematic Universe comes to a conclusion in Avengers: Endgame, Hot Toys is honoring this decade of comic book inspired movies by creating sixth scale versions of superheroes inspired by concept art used in producing of the films. Marvel Studios’ Head of Visual Development, Ryan Meinerding, has provided his concept art for Captain America and Iron Man to create lifelike sixth scale reproductions of these fan favorite characters. Marvel Studios: The First Ten Years Sixth Scale Collectible Figures show these heroes as they were originally envisioned to appear on the big screen in the pre-production stages of filming the movies. These two figures are based upon the concept artwork used in creating the costumes and scenery for Captain America: Civil War.

CAPTAIN AMERICA

This highly-accurate collectible figure is dressed in a monochromatic suit that brings out hidden details, textures, and shapes that Ryan Meinerding had incorporated into concept art for Captain America: Civil War. The black and grey shading of the costume also is utilized in the coloring of Captain America's iconic shield. The sixth scale figure also includes a World War II era shield with a weathered appearance.

The concept art Captain America sixth scale figure stands 31 centimeters tall and has 30 points of articulation. It includes seven interchangeable black gloved hands to assist with posing the character in positions from your favorite movie scenes. Ryan Meinerding's art has also been used to create a sixth scale version of Iron Man based upon ideas for portraying the character in Captain America: Civil War. This highly-detailed variation of Iron Man's Mark XLVI suit features a LED light-up effects in figures, helmet, Arc Reactor within a circle-shaped indent on the chest and repulsor firing hands. These are some impressive special lighting effects!

Hot Toys Concept Art Iron Man also has a highly detailed armor design with fully enhanced articulations, metallic red and gold-colored painting on the armor.  It is also very sturdily constructed with armor components made from diecast material. Standing 32 centimeters tall, this sixth scale figure also has 30 points of enhanced articulation. A multi-layered armor design provides flexible movement of the figure allowing for movie-accurate posing.

Black Panther Marvel Sixth Scale Figures

Black Panther

This figure representing Wakanda's king T'Challa a.k.a. the Black Panther from the Marvel Studios movie has a stunning incredibly detailed head sculpt portraying Chadwick Boseman, the actor who played the role in the film.  Marvel Black Panther Marvel Sixth Scale Figure also includes a switchable masked head which has two interchangeable eye pieces (masked/unmasked) to provide different looks for the figure.  Plus the figure's body wearing a movie accurate Black Panther costume is super posable with 32 points of articulation.

In the movie, T'Challa's claim to the throne is challenged by his long-lost cousin the vicious Erik Killmonger.  This figure also is dressed in a movie accurate Golden Jaguar outfit and features interchangeable heads that show it masked as well as unmasked with the face of the actor, Michael B. Jordan, who played Killmonger in the film.  Marvel Erik Killmonger Marvel Sixth Scale Figure also has 32 points of articulation as well as eight different hands to mix and match for posing.

Unlike the Black Panther, Marvel Erik Killmonger Marvel Sixth Scale Figure outfit does not include the special glow effects though it does come with a backdrop and figure stand without LED lighting.  The costume is still very detailed with golden accents and includes recreations of Erik Killmonger's weapons, a sword and spear.
