Make HOME ALONE Movies A Holiday Viewing Tradition

** A Geek Daddy received the featured product for free to review**

In 1990 a film about an 8-year old boy (Macaulay Culkin) who is mistakenly left behind when his family flies off for a vacation at Christmas and finds himself defending his home from some bungling burglars (Joe Pesci & Daniel Stern).  25 years (and four sequels) later, for many families, including ours, watching these HOME ALONE movies have become a holiday viewing tradition.  With plots involving the high jinks of a young boy, Christmas themed backdrops, and slapstick humor these really are suitable movies for family movie nights during the holiday season.  My children really get cracked up by the comedic stunts in the movies and are laughing throughout our viewing them.  Add some hot chocolate, popcorn and your spouse and kids snuggled up tight next to you on a cold winter night and you're all set for an enjoyable evening at home on the living room couch.

To help make watching the HOME ALONE movies a regular part of our family's Christmas traditions, we recently added the 25th Anniversary HOME ALONE: Ultimate Collectors Edition to our home entertainment video library.  This collection includes all 5 movies in the film franchise bundled together for the first time in a limited edition paint can.  Start with the original blockbuster hit comedy that has that  adorable eight year old Kevin McCallister determined to defend his house against burglars using an outrageous array of ingenious booby traps.  Then gather the whole family for a fun-filled Home Alone marathon with 4 side-splitting sequels packed with even more techno-gadgets, awesome ambushes and crime-stopping wizardry.  You'll receive Home Alone on DVD, Blu-ray and Digital HD, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York on DVD, Blu-ray and Digital HD, Home Alone 3 on DVD, Home Alone: Taking Back the House on DVD, and Home Alone: The Holiday Heist on DVD.  The paint can package holding the movies also includes  a collectible McCallister Christmas ornament, Kevin's battle plan for the Wet Bandits, a plastic replica toy of his brother's pet tarantula and a Wanted Poster for the thieves Harry and Marv.

Have yourself a merry good time enjoying these HOME ALONE movies with your family.
