MENTAL HEALTH TOUCHDOWN FOUNDATION FUNDRAISER

ultimate comeback mental health event

Emagine Royal Oak is hosting a movie screening and panel discussion of the movie THE ULTIMATE COMEBACK based upon former NFL quarterback Erik Kramer's book about his mental health struggles with suicide on September 27, 2025 at 7:30pm. This one-night-only event in downtown Royak Oak, Michigan during Suicide Prevention Month unites several former Detroit Lions’ players for an evening of football, resilience, and hope. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Mental Health Touchdown Foundation, founded by Kramer to provide education, resources, and community support that help individuals and teams strengthen their mental well-being.

The ticketed event will feature a screening of the acclaimed NFL Films documentary The Ultimate Comeback, which tells the story of Kramer’s journey of resilience and perseverance in addressing his mental health challenges. Following the screening, guests will enjoy a live panel discussion and Q&A session with Lions greats including Erik Kramer, Lomas Brown, Herman Moore, and Eric Hipple. The panel will be moderated by NFL Hall of Fame PR Legend Bill Keenist. Additional Lions alumni are also planned to be in attendance.
