CROODS CARE

The Croods has been a family favorite of ours. This humorous movie about a prehistoric family that decides to stop hiding in caves and live life out in the world is a funny a heart-warming story that my wife and I enjoy just as much as our kids. We're really excited to see its sequel THE CROODS: A NEW AGE which is being released in theaters for the Thanksgiving Weekend.

In these tough times it meant a lot to find out that this beloved movie is also using its sequel to help those in needs. Tweet a message with #CroodsCare on Twitter and Universal Pictures will make a donation to the charity Feeding America. Universal will also match donations made directly to Feeding America via the CroodsCare Landing Page www.feedingamerica.org/croodscare. Fans can also contribute via a “Virtual Fruit Drive” on Animal Crossing New Horizons by visiting “Croods Cove” using dream code: DA-1282-8266-2121.Each piece of virtual fruit that users donate on the island will translate into real meals. Universal has pledged to support providing one million meals to families in need through this campaign during the holiday season.

THE CROODS: A NEW AGE -- IN THEATERS NOVEMBER 25

The Croods have survived their fair share of dangers and disasters, from fanged prehistoric beasts to surviving the end of the world, but now they will face their biggest challenge of all: another family.  In this new story the Croods need a new place to live. When they discover an idyllic walled-in paradise that meets all their needs, they think their problems are solved … except for one thing. 

Another family already lives there: the Bettermans. The Bettermans (emphasis on the “better”)—with their elaborate tree house, amazing inventions and irrigated acres of fresh produce—are a couple of steps above the Croods on the evolutionary ladder. When they take the Croods in as the world’s first houseguests, it isn’t long before tensions escalate between the cave family and the modern family. Just when all seems lost, a new threat will propel both families on an epic adventure outside the safety of the wall, one that will force them to embrace their differences, draw strength from each other and forge a future together.
