DEATH ON THE NILE VIDEO GAME

death on the nile microids video game

I've immersed myself in a murder mystery for some Halloween fun playing Agatha Christie -- Death on the Nile on my Nintendo Switch. I've been a fan a Agatha Christie's whodunit novels since reading Ten Little Indians for a middle school English assignments. I've read her books, watched movies based on them and now for the first time am playing a video game that lets you take on the role of the detective attempting to solve an Agatha Christie murder mystery.

In Agatha Christie -- Death on the Nile, a peaceful cruise turns into a nightmare when a murder shatters the tranquility of the voyage. Fortunately, renowned detective Hercule Poirot is on board. At the same time, a parallel investigation led by private detective Jane Royce takes players from London to Mallorca, New York, and finally to Egypt. The two storylines converge in Abu Simbel, where this dynamic investigative duo must solve a tangled case full of twists and intrigue.

This video game isn't just walking through the storyline of the Agatha Christie novel of the same name though; it has a 1970's era vibe to it adding a fresh perspective to the story and the video game has added new layers, secrets and unexpected turns to add new surprises for players to overcome and be surprised by. If you enjoy murder mystery stories this video game is a fun way to jump into the pages of an Agatha Christie novel to become a participant in the whodunit.
