Metro Detroit's ZAP ZONE is going for two world records as part of its 25th anniversary celebration this August! The family entertainment venue will be attempting to get into the Guinness Record Book at its Canton location on August 22 & 23 and at the Farmington Zap Zone on August 25.

Canton's Zap Zone (41953 Ford Road) will be attempting to break the world record for longest marathon of laser tag by playing over 25 hours straight. The game will start at 5 pm on the 22nd and will run over night into the 23rd. There will be limited spaces available for customers and members of the press to play along side the 16 participants as they attempt to break the record.

On August 25, Zap Zone in Farmington (31506 Grand River) will attempt a new record for the largest winner stays on tournament of laser tag. This tournament will be open to anyone in attendance that day. Stop in to be a part of a Guinness World Record! Whether or not Zap Zone achieves these records, everyone is a winner because to celebrate Zap Zone’s 25th Anniversary, EVERYONE is invited to play one FREE game of Laser Tag at any of the company’s nine locations from Noon to 10 pm on August 25th.
