W BRUCE CAMERON PRIZE PACK GIVEAWAY

Forge Books sent me the new W. Bruce Cameron books and is partnering with me for a giveaway
My family loves the canine adventures in W. Bruce Cameron's novels. The inspirational stories in the pages of these New York Times bestselling A Dog's Purpose books as well as through their portrayal in movies have charmed our hearts. Plus my 10 year old twins have also been delighted by the spin-off middle-grade lit Puppy Tales books that share moments from the various dog life incarnations of Bailey from the A Dog's Purpose novels. So we are all excited at our house about the release of two new W. Bruce Cameron books, A Dog's Promise and Lily's Story: A Puppy Tale.

To share our excitement, this dad blogger is hosting a giveaway that is sure to have someone barking out with happiness who wins it. One lucky winner will receive a W. Bruce Cameron Prize Pack courtesy of Forge Books that includes A Dog's Promise, Lily's Story and a diy pet treat kit with silicone paw molds and baking mix to make your own snacks for that special dog in your life. This ageekdaddy.com giveaway is worth $75!

a Rafflecopter giveaway LILY'S STORY: A PUPPY'S TALE

Aimed at young readers in third through eighth grades this middle-grade book is about a pitbull named Lily, the smallest in her litter, who embarks on a unique journey towards confidence, adventure, and discovering life’s purpose.  Recommended for ages 8 -12. Lily's Story is the seventh book in the A Dog's Purpose Puppy Tales series.  My daughter has been enjoying reading it to our puppy.

A DOG'S PROMISE

A Dog’s Promise continues the story of Bailey, the good dog whose journey started in A Dog's Purpose and continued in A Dog's Journey. This time, Bailey is joined by Lacey, another very special dog, who helps Bailey fulfill his promise over the course of several lives. Another W. Bruce Cameron story that is great for the whole family to enjoy!

  4. My brother and I went for a hike up the hill and around when I was 10 and my brother was 7. We lived in a small town in Pennsylvania. This was back when it was safe to do this. We packed our lunch and stopped at the top of the big hill to eat. A puppy found us and we gave it some of our chicken noodle soup. Of course, the dog followed us home. My parents said we had to find the owner so they drove us back to a nearby farm. One of their dogs had had puppies and they said we could keep the puppy. I named her Tina and later took a 4H class to train her. She was a beagle/terrier mix and traveled with my family when we moved several times. She was a sweetheart and lived to be 16.

  6. We got a Doberman puppy for my five-year-old son, he named her Heidi. She was the best dog and very protective of him! We had her for almost 15 years and it took a while before he decided he wanted another dog, so he decided this time he wanted a basset hound. I had a friend who had some puppies so we went to look at them. There were 11 puppies in the litter, but only two females and he wanted a girl dog. The two little girls stuck by each other side while all the boy dogs were just running all over them yard by themselves, the two girls stayed side by side so we decided we couldn't separate them and took both. The girls lived to be 13 years old and dies 2 months apart. Dixie and Daisy were two of the sweetest girls.

  7. My favorite dog story is from several years ago when my 2 year old Weimaraner had the police called on him. He had jumped up on our front storm door and was watching me do yard work. The police showed up and immediately started laughing. Someone had called in that a naked man was standing in a doorway. In hindsight, I wish I would have gotten them to fill out a fake police report as a keepsake. LOL!

  8. We've had two dogs in our life, both black labs and both lived to be about 12 years old. Our first Shadow was our 'baby' before we had babies...and welcomed our children into the family. Our Ozzy 'grew up' with our kids...was their true brother and kept me company every day while they went off to school. I loved them both with all my heart and still miss them every day.
