JUSTIN ROBERTS WILD LIFE

Three-time GRAMMY nominee Justin Roberts has been entertaining kids and the grownups in their lives with his kindie rock albums and live musical performances for the past two decades. Something is new after all these years of performing though as he is set to release an upcoming album later this month on February 28 titled WILD LIFE. This will be the first album Roberts' has produced since becoming a first time dad himself. Justin Roberts' 15th childrens album is being released just as his son is turning 15 months old and the artist acknowledges that fatherhood has shifted his approach to songwriting with a new perspective.

Inspired by the birth of Roberts’ first child, WILD LIFE includes songs about anticipation, uncertainty, unconditional love and advice for a life well-lived. Honest and fresh lyrics also provide a hint of darkness that Roberts relayed to ageekdaddy.com is meant to speak not only to the journey of parenthood but also delve into the vast gamut of human experiences. The album features a variety of sounds ranging from finger-plucked ukulele to pulsing flutes and ethereal touches of piano. His wife Anna Steinhoff contributes a pizzicato cello which is often used in lieu of bass.
