Bonus features include the original 1961 pilot for The Adventures of Superboy starring John Rockwell, a special on Smallville's 100th Episode: Making of a Milestone, a feature length documentary on the history of DC Comics, as well as deleted scenes, gag reels and behind the scenes featurettes from each season of the show. Whether you watched this tv show when it first aired like I did or are a superhero fan who wants to binge watch this series for the first time, THE COMPLETE SERIES: SMALLVILLE is a great addition to your home entertainment video library.
The tv show follows the life of teenage Clark Kent growing up in the small town of Smallville, Kansas as he evolves into the hero we all know as Superman. Next to Christopher Reeve, Tom Welling is my second-favorite actor to portray the role of the Man of Steel and Michael Rosenbaum provides my favorite adaption of Lex Luther when it comes to the movies or television. The slew of DC Comics inspired television shows airing on The CW television network now wouldn't be occurring if it wasn't for the successful Emmy-winning 10-season run of SMALLVILLE.
