RIO2 SING-A-LONG ACTIVITY SHEETS & GIVEAWAY

I was at the store the day after Halloween and amazed at how quickly the Christmas & Hanukkah  decorations had replaced the costumes and trick-or-treat candy in the aisles.  The holiday shopping season is here!

To help our friends over at Fox Home Entertainment promote the sing-a-long dvd edition of RIO2 we are giving away a movie prize pack to one luck A Geek Daddy Blog reader.  Plus we have some fun holiday themed activities featuring the RIO2 gang to share.  My kids really have enjoyed watching this movie and singing along to all the upbeat songs in it both at the theaters and on the dvd version we own.  This special edition of RIO2 on DVD and Blu-Ray features a sing-a-long function for 10 sings including I Will Survive, What is Love, and Rio Rio plus the theatrical version of the film that will be a fun addition to any holiday gift list.  RIO2 SING-A-LONG is being released on Blu-ray/DVD beginning November 4, 2014.

FREE RIO 2 COLORING PAGES & BLURAY/DVD/DIGITAL DOWNLOAD GIVEAWAY

My children really wanted to go see the animated movie RIO 2 at the movie theater but unfortunately we just weren't able to get out to see it.  So they are excited that the movie is coming out on Blu-ray and DVD on July 15,2014.  The last few days they've been getting really excited about seeing the movie when it comes out on home video!

In this sequel, the RIO adventure continues when Blu, Jewel and their three kids take a walk on the wild side and embark on a colorful, comical, music-filled journey through the Amazon.  As Blu tries to fit into his new surroundings, he goes beak-to-beak with the villainous Nigel and meets the most fearsome adversary of all ... his FATHER-IN-LAW!!!

In addition to a great family movie, RIO 2 on Blu-ray  provides loads of extra bonus features plus 2 downloadable bonus songs from the movie's soundtrack:  "I Will Survive" and "Poisonous Love" both performed by Gabi (Kristin Chenoweth) and Nigel (Jemaine Clement).  The DVD also has some bonus features but not as many as the Blu-ray.  The Blu-ray is also available in 3D though that version is not included with our giveaway promotion.

Have some Soccer Fun with the characters from RIO 2

The setting for the movie RIO 2 takes place in a local that is at the forefront of public attention right now as Brazil is hosting the world's premiere soccer tournament that takes place every four years featuring the sport's greatest talents representing their countries in international play.  To promote the country where the film takes place and the upcoming July 15th 3D Blu-ray, Blu-ray, DVD, Digital Download releases of RIO 2, Fox Home Entertainment has provided some fun futbol themed activity sheets to share with your children while you enjoy the tournament.  I do hope you are taking in some of the tournament action, the USA national team for example won their first game with a thrilling last minute score where a player bounced in the GOAL!!! via knocking it off his head.  I know sometimes soccer gets a bad rap for its slow pace but how can you call that boring?!
