My kids LOVE dinosaurs! So they had a smashing good time playing with DINO SMASHERS from Zuru Toys. These collectible dinosaur toys come packaged in a blind bag format that look like eggs that kids have to smash open to discover what is inside. The dinos found inside these eggs can rage from commonly discovered to ultra rare including robot, mutant, zombie and glow-in-the-dark varieties.
DINO SMASHERS
There are over 100 dinosaur characters to collect through smashing the individually sold eggs. You never know what will be inside. My son and daughter were particularly thrilled with the glow-in-the-dark dinosaurs in some of their DINO SMASHERS eggs. Once you've smashed open an egg it can be rebuilt to smash open over and over again or the pieces can be tossed in your recycling bin to get a new life. Please don't be wasteful and just toss these plastic egg shells in the garbage.SMASH REX
For some tyran-orific fun opening DINO SMASHERS eggs, there is also SMASH REX. Instead of smashing open an egg feed it to a T-Rex. Place an egg within its mouth to witness SMASH REX eat it. CRUNCH! Listen to SMASH REX roar and make gross sounds while watching it chew up an egg and poop out the shell piece and the dinosaur that was inside it. My kids really ate this up!SMASH REX is a giant T-Rex action figure that comes with one smasher egg with a dino inside, one bonus DINO SMASHERS collectible figure not in an egg, and a nest to help rebuild the chewed up eggs. Additional eggs for SMASH REX to eat are sold separately. This hungry T-REX makes opening DINO SMASHERS extra entertaining.
EPIC DINO EGG
Smash open this humongous DINO SMASHERS egg and dig into it to build your own dinosaur fossil skeleton toy. Kids can imagine being on an archaeological expedition as they sift through a fizzing volcano, slime, sand and other elements that have pieces of a dinosaur hidden within. Find all the pieces to put together a dinosaur skeleton toy.
Dig your way through dirt, rock, ice, lava and slime to uncover to discover and collect all the bones necessary to build a dinosaur skeleton. Each of these eggs contains one of three exclusive Smash-O-Saurs. There are more than 25 surprises awaiting inside for anyone who cracks open this EPIC DINO EGG as they dig through its contents. These also include a number of the standard sized DINO SMASHERS eggs with their miniature collectible dinosaur figures inside as well.
I'd recommend playing with an EPIC DINO EGG outside because they are very messy! Dust, slime, volcano fizz gets all over the place. While kids will have a great time getting messy, moms and dads should be prepared to avoid furniture getting damaged and cleaning up afterward. You absolutely don't want to have your children wearing their nice clothes when playing around with an EPIC DINO EGG.
My kids had a great time getting their hands dirty digging through a fossil rock, ice age putty, glowing slime, dino dirt and volcano fizz. Not only did they pull out the pieces of their Smash-O-Saur from the included packs but they goofed around with these substances too. They had almost as much of a good time rolling around and making shapes out of the dino dirt and slime as they did diving in to look for their skeleton parts. They told me their EPIC DINO EGG experience really felt like they were having an adventure in our backyard.
Once all the skeleton parts were found it was time to put together their Smash-O-Saur toys. We were in luck each of their EPIC DINO EGGS had a different dinosaur inside for them to assemble. It is random which of the three types of Smash-O-Saurs will be found inside an EPIC DINO EGG. They each really liked the ones they discovered.
With all the things there were to do with an EPIC DINO EGG, it kept my kids amused for an entire afternoon. If you are looking to keep children occupied, I'd recommend grabbing some of these for them to break open. Recommended for children 5 years and up.
