STAR TREK PRODIGY GIVEAWAY

Cartoons aren't just for little kids! While my teenage twins are at an age where they don't want to hang out with their good ole dad very much these days; they still look forward to huddling together around our living room television as a family to binge watch together episodes of the Nickelodeon produced Star Trek animated series Prodigy on Netflix. It is a fun, energetic show filled with stories aimed to be attractive tween and teen viewers that is filled with easter eggs and action scenes to also make it entertaining to old school Trekkies like me. We've had some great family time taking in the spacefaring sci-fi adventures of Star Trek: Prodigy together.

In Star Trek: Prodigy the year is 2383, five years after the USS Voyager has returned to Earth after being thought for lost in deep space. A motley group of young aliens imprisoned at a mining colony on a remote planet find an abandoned Starfleet ship with ties to the Voyager's crew. Taking control of the ship, they must learn to work together to boldly go in an uncharted direction for them ... freedom. 

If you've missed out streaming Star Trek: Prodigy on Netflix, catch up on the misfit adventures of Dal R'El, Gwyndala, Rok-Tahk, Zero, Jankom Pog and Murf by watching the first two seasons of the show on Blu-ray and DVD. The second season has just joined the first in being available on Blu-ray and DVD to add to your home entertainment video collection. The movie begins with Scott Lang grappling with the consequences of the role he has played in the Marvel cinematic universe as the Ant-Man.  Approached by Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym who are now on the run from the law, Lang must once again don the Ant-Man suit and fight alongside the Wasp. This urgent mission Lang is recruited for soon leads to secret revelations from the past as this dynamic duo finds itself in an epic battle against a new powerful enemy.

ANT-MAN AND THE WASP earned A Geek Daddy nod of approval for being a funny romp of a superhero movie filled with action yet suitable for the whole family to enjoy together. A perfect movie for a family movie night! Rated PG-13 because there is a lot of fight scenes in the movie and it paints law enforcement as "bad guys" when it comes to their prosecuting and punishing Lang for Ant-Man's role in Captain America: Civil War, this flick doesn't have sexual content, swearing, or scary scenes for parents to be wary of letting younger kids watch it. While there are a number of battle sequences in the film, the movie isn't overly violent. I had no issue with my nine year old twins watching this movie and it is now one of my family's favorite films in the Marvel cinematic universe.

Full of comedic moments and gags which combined with the super hero adventure elements of its story makes ANT-MAN AND THE WASP great to watch whether or not you are a fan of comic book inspired movies. There are lots of people and things shrinking and expanding throughout the movie with special effects that will WOW you.  This is just a downright fun flick to enjoy along with a bucket of popcorn!

Duty calls again, and our hero dog Max returns to action in MAX 2: White House Hero. His new assignment brings him to Washington, D.C. to serve on the U.S. president's Secret Service detail. First Son TJ (Zane Austin), along with Max and Alex, uncover a dangerous plot that puts both kids and both nations in jeopardy.
