SUMMER OF BETTER MADE

Michigan based Emagine Entertainment has teamed up with the iconic Detroit snack brand Better Made to launch "The Summer of Better Made," a limited-time concession collaboration bringing bold hometown flavors to moviegoers across the Midwest. The new menu features craveable concession items inspired by Better Made's classic Barbeque and Sour Cream & Onion flavors which first launched in 1973:

• Better Made Tossed Fries & Tots – seasoned with either Sour Cream & Onion or BBQ flavoring; 
• Better Made Tossed Chicken Tenders – available with Sour Cream & Onion or BBQ seasoning; 
• Better Made BBQ Pizza – Specialty pizza featuring a ranch base, six-cheese blend, seasoned fajita chicken, and Better Made BBQ seasoning.

While these Better Made Snacks flavors have been around since the year I was born, these specialty concession stand treats will only be available for a limited time during the Summer of Better Made. These craveable concession snacks will be available while supplies last at all Emagine Theatre locations in Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin. LOONEY TUNES BREAKFAST AT EMAGINE THEATRES

Each month, Emagine hosts a Breakfast and a Movie showing, at select theaters, of one of the newest family-film releases. The breakfast and a movie screening package will include a full breakfast buffet, a 44oz. popcorn, and a 21oz fountain drink as well as a ticket to the showing for $24 for children and $30 for adults.  The special presentation for March will be the new Looney Tunes movie THE DAY THE EARTH BLEW UP a PG-rated family-friendly spoof of 1950s era sci-fi flicks. In Michigan, the event will take place at Emagine's Canton and Royal Oak locations.

Porky Pig and Daffy Duck become Earth's only hope when their antics at the local bubble-gum factory uncover a secret alien mind-control plot. Faced with cosmic odds, they must save their town and the world while not driving each other totally looney.

PINK MOVIE THEATER POPCORN

Throughout the month of October, Emagine Entertainment will be offering guests at their Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana theatres the opportunity to enjoy pink popcorn in recognition of national breast cancer awareness month. During the month when guests purchase their pink popcorn a portion of the proceeds from each sale will be donated to Michigan based Shades of Pink Foundation. Shades of Pink Foundation helps to reduce the financial stress for those undergoing breast cancer treatment in Southeast Michigan by providing prompt funding for daily living expenses including help with rent payment, insurance payments, transportation costs, childcare, and other essential of daily life. 

 “Offering pink popcorn is certainly fun for our guests, but the meaning behind it is powerful,” Anthony LaVerde, CEO of Emagine Entertainment, remarked to ageekdaddy.com. “We are pleased to once again come together as a community and partner with Shades of Pink Foundation to help offer some additional support to those facing the challenges of having breast cancer.”

EMAGINE THEATRES BATMAN DAY MOVIE MARATHON

Saturday, September 21 is National Batman Day and Emagine Theatres is celebrating the 85th anniversary of the DC Comics superhero with a movie marathon. Select Emagine theatres will be hosting a THE DARK KNIGHT trilogy movie marathon offering tickets to all three films and a concession deal for only $25 per person. Celebrate one of the most famous comic characters of our time and enjoy a day full of films and fun! 

The Batman Day Package is only $25 and will include tickets to each of the films, Batman Begins, Dark Knight, and Dark Knight Rises, an 85oz popcorn tub and small drink that can be refilled for no additional cost throughout the day.* 

BATMAN BEGINS (2005) After witnessing his parent’s death, Bruce learns the art of fighting to confront injustice. When he returns to Gotham as Batman, he must stop a secret society that intends to destroy the city. Rated PG-13

STAR WARS MAY THE FOURTH MOVIE MARATHON

Emagine Canton will be the only theatre in Michigan, and one of only 14 theatres in the United States, to show the Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga May the 4th Marathon. The movie marathon includes 24 hours of Star Wars movies, premium giveaways, photo opportunities, concession specials, themed drinks, trivia, and an experience unlike anything else. Tickets are $65 per seat or $130 per cuddle chair. The theatre is located at 39535 Ford Road in Canton, Michigan.

Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga May the 4th Marathon event will begin on Friday, May 3, 2024. Doors open at 7:00pm. Guests are encouraged to come dressed in costume (no masks or weapons allowed) to this exclusive event. The Star Wars movie marathon will show all nine Star Wars Episodes in chronological order beginning at 8:00pm on Friday, May 3, going through the night, and concluding on Saturday, May 4 around 7:00pm. An exclusive look at “The Acolyte” a new Disney+ series will also be shown.

MICHAEL MYERS COMING TO DETROIT FOR HALLOWEEN THEMED CHARITY EVENT

Nick Castle and James Jude Courtney, known for their portrayal of the notorious "Michael Myers" in the Halloween movies series, are teaming up to appear in Detroit for two "Halfway 2 Halloween" events that support Gleaners Community Food Bank. A portions of the proceeds from both events will be donated to support Gleaners in providing breakfast for local children during the summer break, a crucial meal that underprivileged kids may receive only during the school year. The Emagine Theatres location in Novi will host a special movie night on Friday, May 3 and Screamers Costumes Store in Clinton Township will host a meet and greet on Saturday, May 4. Nick Castle, the original “Michael Myers” from 1978’s HALLOWEEN, and James Jude Courtney, who has recently embodied the character in the franchise’s latest installments – HALLOWEEN (2018), HALLOWEEN KILLS (2021), and HALLOWEEN ENDS (2022), will be present at both events. 

The “Halfway 2 Halloween” weekend includes: 

Friday, May 3rd – A unique double feature movie premiere with Q&A at Emagine Novi featuring HALLOWEEN (1978) and HALLOWEEN (2018), with a selection of two screenings one starting at 6:00 and the other at 7:00 p.m. A Q&A session with James Jude Courtney and Nick Castle, moderated by Anthony LaVerde, CEO of Emagine Entertainment will take place between the movies in the double feature. Saturday, May 4th – Meet and greet session at Screamers Costumes, with autographs and photo opportunities. James Jude Courtney and Nick Castle will be at the Screamers Costumes Store, located at 35431 Gratiot Ave., Clinton Township. Attendees can get autographs, selfie photos, and a special HALLOWEEN themed photo with both actors. Doors open at 10:00 a.m., with payments accepted onsite via cash or credit card. A portion of the proceeds from both events will support the 2024 Gleaner's Food Bank Cereal Drive, aiding in providing breakfast for local children during the summer months.
