Michigan based Emagine Entertainment has teamed up with the iconic Detroit snack brand Better Made to launch "The Summer of Better Made," a limited-time concession collaboration bringing bold hometown flavors to moviegoers across the Midwest. The new menu features craveable concession items inspired by Better Made's classic Barbeque and Sour Cream & Onion flavors which first launched in 1973:

• Better Made Tossed Fries & Tots – seasoned with either Sour Cream & Onion or BBQ flavoring; 
• Better Made Tossed Chicken Tenders – available with Sour Cream & Onion or BBQ seasoning;

1980S ERA TRANSFORMER MOVIE RETURNING TO THEATERS

LEGO ONE PIECE COMING TO NETFLIX

Based upon the success of the live action ONE PIECE series on Netflix, the cast has reunited for a LEGO special themed around the likeness of their characters on the hit show. TWENTIETH ANNIVERSARY OF TALLADEGA NIGHTS

One of the most quoted movies of the 2000s races back into theaters in celebration of its 20th anniversary! TALLADEGA NIGHTS: THE BALLAD OF RICKY BOBBY will have a three-night theatrical re-release at select locations across the United States on June 28, June 30 and July 1, 2026. Columbia Pictures invites audiences to revisit the world of stock car racing on the big screen in this action comedy starring Will Ferrell.

NASCAR stock car racing sensation Ricky Bobby (Will Ferrell) is a national hero because of his "win at all costs" approach. He and his loyal racing partner, childhood friend Cal Naughton Jr. (John C. Reilly), are a fearless duo -- known as "Thunder" and "Lightning" by their fans for their ability to finish so many races in the #1 and #2 positions, with Cal always in second place. When flamboyant French Formula One driver Jean Girard (Sacha Baron Cohen) challenges "Thunder" and "Lightning" for the supremacy of NASCAR, Ricky Bobby must face his own demons and fight Girard for the right to be known as racing's top driver.

This 2006 film is rated PG-13. This limited engagement release will not include any additional or enhanced footage or bonus content, but it will provide a chance to see a flick that many people have probably only seen on television as it was originally filmed to be seen on the silver screen of a movie theater. READY OR NOT 2 MOVIE REVIEW

Ready or Not 2 manages the rare feat of being a sequel that honors the chaotic spirit of the original while expanding its wicked mythology in unexpected directions. Picking up with Grace, who is now a hardened survivor of the Le Domas family’s ritualistic madness, the film flips the script by placing her back in the crosshairs of a different, yet equally deranged, high-society cult. Samara Weaving returns with her trademark blend of feral desperation and dry wit, proving once again that she is the ultimate modern final girl. The action is punchier, the stakes feel more global, and the dark humor is as sharp as a sacrificial dagger.

The sequel’s greatest strength lies in its world-building, which avoids the trap of simply repeating the "hide and seek" gimmick. Instead, it dives deeper into the supernatural pacts that govern the world’s elite, introducing a fresh gallery of aristocratic monsters who are as bumbling as they are lethal. The cinematography shifts from the claustrophobic corridors of a single mansion to a sprawling, gothic estate that feels like a character itself, dripping with atmosphere and inventive deathtraps. While the first film was a tight survival thriller, this installment leans harder into the "splatstick" horror-comedy genre, delivering gore that is both shocking and hilariously over-the-top.

By the time the explosive finale rolls around, Ready or Not 2 cements itself as a rare follow-up that might actually surpass the original for some fans. It’s a cynical, bloody, and riotously fun critique of inherited wealth that never takes itself too seriously. I love the comedy-style JUMANJI movies starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Kevin Hart and Jack Black that were a parody of action/adventure films. So, I'm geeked that Jack Black is heading back to the jungle, this time joined by Paul Rudd and Steve Zahn, in a spoof of horror flicks! ANACONDA slithers into movie theaters at Christmas. 

Doug (Jack Black) and Griff (Paul Rudd) have been best friends since they were kids, and have always dreamed of remaking their all-time favorite movie: the cinematic "classic" Anaconda. When a midlife crisis pushes them to finally go for it, they head deep into the Amazon to start filming. But things get real when an actual giant anaconda appears, turning their comically chaotic movie set into a deadly situation. The movie they’re dying to make? It might just get them killed!

FORK N FILM DETROIT

Dinner and a movie is being completely reimagined in downtown Detroit. Cambria Detroit Downtown is partnering with Fork n’ Film to introduce Michigan’s first-ever immersive cinematic dining experience — a curated series that blends iconic films with chef-driven, multi-course pre-set menus and specially crafted cocktails and mocktails, for a truly unforgettable evening.

The series debuts this fall inside Cambria’s elegant Balla Ultra Lounge with a showing of Disney Pixar’s Ratatouille. Guests will follow Remy’s flavorful journey through Paris while enjoying dishes timed to arrive at the precise moments their inspiration appears on screen, transforming the typical movie night into an immersive storytelling experience.

The Fork n’ Film cinematic dinner series will take place in the Balla Ultra Lounge on select dates beginning Friday, September 12, 2025. The Ratatouille screening will have capacity limited to just 40 guests per night to maintain the intimate and theatrical nature of the experience. Each event will begin with a welcoming glass of champagne and freshly popped popcorn, followed by a multi-course gourmet dinner (with vegetarian options available) and select crafted cocktails and mocktails, choreographed to key cinematic moments.

As the Halloween season approaches, Fathom Entertainment is beginning FRIGHT FEST 2025, a series of special spooky movie showings taking place at select movie theatres across the United States. Fathom’s Fright Fest 2025 lineup features a mix of cult classics, animated frights, and a brand-new adventure/horror flick commencing with a Texas Chain Saw Day movie theatre screenings of the 1974 film, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and concluding with the more family focused ParaNorman being shown October 25 - 28th.
