RAIDEN FIGHTERS REMIX COLLECTION

Nearly 30 years after the original arcade release, the RAIDEN FIGHTERS video game series is now set to make an epic return on modern consoles, thanks to the ongoing push to make it happen from a devoted fanbase. H2 Interactive will release the 2D shooting games originally developed by ‘MOSS Co., Ltd.’ in a collection called "Raiden Fighters Remix Collection for PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch on February 26th, 2026. It includes both the Japanese and international versions of the ‘Raiden Fighters Trilogy’ — ‘Raiden Fighters’, ‘Raiden Fighters 2’, and ‘Raiden Fighters Jet’.

The ‘Raiden Fighters’ series, first released in the 1990s, is an enduring classic that fascinated gamers with its pixel graphics, high-tempo, intense sound effects, and intricately designed scoring system. Now these games are being updated with some modern touches that include:

Retry Feature: A feature that allows players to return to the beginning of a stage has been newly added, which significantly improves the player’s efficiency. 

Beginner-Friendly Feature: A special mode has been added in which enemies do not fire bullets at the player, making the game more accessible to newcomers. 

Settings Customization Feature: Players can start the game with their preferred settings pre-configured, allowing for a more personalized and convenient gameplay experience. 

BGM Customization Feature: Players can customize the background music for each stage, with a wide selection of newly remixed tracks also included.

The three titles included in ‘Raiden Fighters Remix Collection’ — ‘Raiden Fighters Remix’, ‘Raiden Fighters 2 Remix’, and ‘Raiden Fighters Jet Remix’ — will be available individually through the PlayStation Store and Nintendo Online Store. In addition, the complete three-title bundle, ‘Raiden Fighters Remix Collection’, will be released in both standard physical and limited editions.

EXPERIENCE DEPECHE MODE ON IMAX

When I'm with you baby I go out of my head A and I just can't get enough! In high school you'd often fine me listening to a Depeche Mode tune, in fact they were the first band I ever saw in concert! So, I had some nostalgic flashbacks of those times when hearing that a Depeche Mode concert film will be shown in October on IMAX screens at movie theaters across the country. 

DEPECHE MODE: M is a unique cinematic journey into the heart of Mexican culture's relationship with death, framed by the iconic live performances of Depeche Mode during their 2023-2024 Memento Mori tour. ANACONDA SLITHERS INTO MOVIE THEATERS AT CHRISTMAS

I love the comedy-style JUMANJI movies starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Kevin Hart and Jack Black that were a parody of action/adventure films. So, I'm geeked that Jack Black is heading back to the jungle, this time joined by Paul Rudd and Steve Zahn, in a spoof of horror flicks! ANACONDA slithers into movie theaters at Christmas. 

Doug (Jack Black) and Griff (Paul Rudd) have been best friends since they were kids, and have always dreamed of remaking their all-time favorite movie: the cinematic "classic" Anaconda. When a midlife crisis pushes them to finally go for it, they head deep into the Amazon to start filming. STREET ARTIST SWOON CREATES CAUGHT STEALING MOVIE POSTERS

To capture the vibe of the upcoming Sony Pictures film CAUGHT STEALING, street artist Swoon crafted movie posters hyping its August 29 theatrical release date. Caught Stealing is directed by Academy Award® nominee Darren Aronofsky and is based on Charlie Huston's book of the same name. The film stars Austin Butler, Regina King, Zoë Kravitz, Matt Smith, Liev Schreiber, Vincent D’Onofrio, Griffin Dunne, Benito Martínez Ocasio, and Carol Kane.

Thank you to Warner Bros Pictures for sending me a free AQUAMAN swag pack to rev up my excitement about the new superhero film hitting movie theaters this Christmas weekend. Who is ready to dive into a new Aquaman adventure?! AQUAMAN AND THE LOST KINGDOM is being released December 22, 2023.

Warner Bros Pictures hooked me up with some great gear to plunge into this movie experience. I was GEEKED to receive a cool jacket along with a warm hat to wear out when heading out in the winter weather to see this DC Comics inspired superhero movie. Also unboxed were some impressive swag including a comic book, ice cube tray, handwarmers, and a YETI. This was an AWESOME package to unbox!

The Walt Disney Company announced this week that a number of popular series from Marvel Studios and Lucasfilm will be available on Collector’s Edition 4K UHD and Blu-ray for fans to add to their movie collections, featuring Steelbook packaging, concept art cards and some never-before-seen bonus features.

The titles and dates announced are:

PREY HOME VIDEO BONUS FEATURES

PREDATOR (1987) is one of my all-time favorite movies, but up to know unfortunately the sequels in the film franchise have been fairly disappointing. My opinion though may change when I actually get around to seeing the newest PREDATOR themed movie PREY (2022) which is finally being released on 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray this Halloween season. Some great reviews of PREY have caught my attention and the movie was nominated for six Emmy Awards. 

Produced as a Hulu exclusive, I've been bummed about not seeing the flick yet, but don't subscribe to that streaming service. I'm definitely planning on watching PREY now that it is going to be available to add to my home video entertainment library on October 3, 2023.

A Predator is one the hunt in this action-thriller set in 1719 on the Great Plains with a band of Comanches. When Naru, a fierce and highly skilled young warrior, sets out to protect her people, the prey she stalks turns out to be a highly evolved alien predator — leading to a vicious and terrifying showdown. The movie is rated R by the Motion Picture Association of America for strong bloody violence.
